Go Girl Communications–Marketing Intern 2017

Go Girl Communications, a content marketing company that specializes in helping brands create conversations with female consumers, is looking for a Marketing Intern to join their team. This position will assist in developing and implementing social media and marketing strategies for Go Girl clients as well as the overall Go Girl brand.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing the social media channels and email campaigns for Go Girl Communication and its clients
• Creating compelling content to be shared by our influencers
• Generating sales and marketing materials as well as preparing presentations
• Tracking social media analytics and organizing reports
• Managing and updating company database
• Assisting with additional marketing administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of MS Office, a passion for marketing and social media, and a strong desire to learn. This is a part-time paid position (10-15 hours per/week).

Reflection Software is a learning and training solutions provider working with some of the biggest names in retail. We are currently looking for some freelance writers to help us create instructor and participant guides for use in professional classrooms and trainings. For this project, we will need someone who can take high level outlines and content guides and assimilate them into concise, engaging scripts. The ideal candidates will be detail oriented, able to explain tasks to others clearly and concisely, able to process large amounts of information quickly, and have excellent writing skills. We are almost always in need of freelance writers so doing well on your first project with us could lead to a regular stream of work. ONE This exhibition is open to all contemporary artists working in 2d, 3d, audio, installation, performance and video. There is a $25 application fee that is used to offset the costs of the exhibition.

We are hosting an informational meeting on Thursday, March 30 at 5:00 p.m. for any students who would like to start a career in the world of athletics marketing. The meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Room of the NIU Convocation Center, located on the lower level. Attendees may park in LOT C3 and enter through Entrance 5.

This is an unpaid internship but provides a tremendous opportunity for professional development and helps gain real-world experiences that will enhance their resumes. Students MUST be able to commit for the entire 2017-18 academic year. Dress for the meeting is business casual and applicants should bring a cover letter and resume. We’re looking for energetic students to assist us with graphic design, in-game emcee, game day assistance and office assistance, etc.
