I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you feel like the world has lost its way, try not to despair. At turbulent times like these, we need to remember where we came from. Connect with nature, to hear a different story than the ones the algorithms feed us. Trade our filter bubbles for campfires🌍
Even in a world that's hurting, wonder is everywhere - we just have to open our heart to it. See it in the flight of a Monarch butterfly. Hear it in the song of a thrush at dawn. Feel it in the wind on your face on a crisp fall day🍁
Awe is the antidote to despair. So go outside, look up at the stars and remember how small - and connected - you really are💫

Are You Expecting a Baby this Summer/Fall or know a family that is expecting? Erikson Institute, the nation's premier graduate school in child development is offering families a unique opportunity to share your baby's first 8 months with a graduate student.
Students in our Masters Early Childhood Education: Early Intervention Program or Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate Program would love to work with you by visiting virtually to observe you and your baby as you engage in your typical, everyday activities. This will help the students learn about a baby’s development as well as the joys and challenges of caring for a baby during the first year of life. The observations will be an hour every other week from September through April. Families share that they truly enjoy this special experience very much as it gives them a unique opportunity to focus on their baby’s growth and development and their relationship with the baby. We are currently recruiting families expecting a baby in Late August through early October, or those with newborns under 2 months of age.
To learn more or volunteer for this program please contact Linda Horwitz, [email protected]. Feel free to pass on this information to others. Thank you, we couldn’t offer this unique experience without you!
