Mastering proper technique is a cornerstone for any aspiring guitarist. 🎸 Pay attention to hand and finger placement, hold the pick correctly, and ensure clean, clear notes – these elements make a world of difference in your playing.

🤔 Why does it matter?

✅ Clean Sound: Proper technique produces a cleaner, more articulate sound.

✅ Prevent Bad Habits: Early development of good habits saves you from correcting bad ones later.

✅ Avoid Injury: Correct technique minimizes the risk of strain or injury to your fingers and hands.

💡 How to work on it:

👉 Take it Slow: Begin with simple exercises to focus on hand and finger positions.

👉 Change Perspectives: Examine your hand(s) from different angles to identify areas for improvement. (Try using a mirror!)

👉 Space and Placement: For the Fretting hand, ensure there is some space between the neck of the guitar and the palm. For the picking hand, position your arm and hand comfortably on the guitar for effective string picking.
