North Central recently reached a significant milestone in its long and rich history as a leader in business education. In April, AACSB International (AACSB) announced that North Central had earned accreditation of its programs in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
Widely considered the gold standard in business education, AACSB accreditation is an external marker of excellence held by just 6 percent of business schools worldwide. It ensures North Central has the resources, credentials and commitment needed to provide students with a first-rate, future-focused business education.
Dr. David Green, Paleka-Thomson Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, shares more about the impact of this achievement in a column for Positively Naperville.

North Central’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program was granted accreditation-continued status from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA), the national accrediting body for physician assistant education.
The designation means that the College’s MSPAS program continues to meet the high standards established by ARC-PA and reflects North Central’s commitment to excellence in physician assistant education.
“This achievement is the result of a true team effort from our talented and dedicated faculty and staff,” said Dr. Kristin Geraty, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “The news also marks a significant milestone on our decade-long journey toward becoming a destination for healthcare education, as all of our graduate health science programs now hold full accreditation from their respective accrediting agencies.”
