North Central College Department of Psychology

What have you been up to since the end of the semester? These psychology and neuroscience majors and minors have been traveling in Ireland and Northern Ireland to learn about Irish history and culture. It’s been a grand adventure!

This is a great opportunity for current students.

The Cultural Psychology class finished a course-based research study examining student’s perceptions of success. They completed group data analysis during today’s final exam session. This work will inform continuing work on campus. Great job, team!

Congratulations to this team for their presentation at the Midwestern Psychological Association conference this afternoon. Our study examines parent and child perceptions of playful learning. Thanks to Kayla Burger, Riley Knoop, Zach Davis, Teresa Chew, Deisy Perez, and Samia Islam Saba for working with Dr. Dooley, Dr. Schacht, and Dr. Rivera to complete this study. Thank you to DuPage Children’s Museum and the families who shared their time, especially the children who talked to us about play!
