They don’t just teach lessons - they nurture hearts. Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week, and we’re still feeling the love for our incredible educators! Every day, they create a space where our kids feel safe, loved, and encouraged to be exactly who they are. Thank you for making Préscolaire Early Learning Academy a second home.
From small white cartons to larger cardboard containers, our classroom was full of "box" exploration today. We’re practicing our grip, coordination, and curiosity as we discover what makes each box unique. Who knew a simple box could be such a great teacher?

What can we use to make an inclined plane? 🤔 Our students spent the morning answering that very question! Using everyday classroom materials like rulers, blocks, and cardboard, they explored how simple machines make work easier. These hands-on STEAM activities are more than just play; they are the first steps in building critical thinking skills for our future engineers.
Singing our way to bilingualism!
We love seeing the joy and confidence these little ones bring to their Spanish lessons. It’s amazing to watch them naturally absorb new vocabulary as they clap and sing along to the melody.

Last week was one for the books! 📚 Our students were treated to surprise visits from our community Mystery Readers, keeping everyone on their toes and ears wide open.
To top it off, local illustrator Christine Ward stopped by to share The Penguin Parade: A Tale About Fairy Penguins by Betsy Green and even brought custom coloring pages so the kids could dive deeper into the world of Fairy Penguins. 🐧🎨

So much learning going on here - we're not even sure where to start! We're practicing collaboration as a group, making colorful chemical reactions, and discussing the intricate parts that make up our planet for Earth Day. What a great way to celebrate the wonderful world we live on!

To celebrate Week of the Young Child, our little artists have been channeling their inner Kandinsky, Monet, and Van Gogh. From impressionist gardens to bold abstract shapes, the classroom is officially a masterpiece. We are so proud of the hard work and heart they’ve poured into these recreations!
