🌿👣 Sensory Week has been full of outdoor adventures at our Anchorage Center! ☀️💙

Our learners spent time exploring the outdoors, searching for different textures, colors, scents, and natural treasures along the way. From discovering plants and insects to collecting unique items from nature, every moment was an opportunity to engage the senses and spark curiosity. 🌼🐞🍃

Sensory activities like these encourage observation, communication, creativity, and meaningful connections with the world around us - all while having fun outside in the beautiful Alaska sunshine! 🌲✨

🌊☀️ OCEAN WEEK FUN IS MAKING WAVES! ☀️🌊

Our friends from 𝗢’𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗢, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗜𝗟, 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝘆, 𝗜𝗟, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗜𝗟 have been having a fin-tastic time celebrating 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙊𝙘𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠! 🐠💙 From an exciting 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 to creative 𝗷𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀 and even making their own 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵-𝗶𝗻-𝗮-𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲, our learners have been diving into hands-on fun all week long. 🏖️🐙✨

These engaging activities help build creativity, fine motor skills, communication, and social connections while making learning meaningful and memorable. 🌟

🌎 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: The ocean is home to more than 230,000 known species, with millions more still waiting to be discovered! 🌊🐳

🎉💙 Big emotions and special memories at our Central Coast centers this week! We celebrated birthdays, shared lots of smiles, and even had some furry stuffed friends join in on the fun 🧸✨ We also took time to celebrate friends on their last day with us at ELC, making every moment meaningful together.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to recognize, understand, and support emotions in all forms - something we value deeply through approaches like our Squares of Emotion curriculum. From excitement and joy to bittersweet goodbyes, every feeling plays a role in connection, growth, and learning. 🌊☀️
