Congratulations to Ruth Belachew, F***y Mateo, Reagan Vernon, and MacKenzie Isaac on reaching this exciting milestone. Each of them has worked hard through the training and certification process, and we’re proud to see them continue growing as members of our clinical teams.

We are so excited to celebrate Makenna Besett on becoming a BCBA! 🎉

Makenna passed her BCBA exam Wednesday morning, marking an exciting new chapter in her Emergent journey. She has been with our team for a little over two years, beginning as an RBT and now stepping into her new role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

A graduate of Missouri State University, Makenna shared that her favorite part of working at Emergent is being part of a team that works so hard to support our clients’ progress.

We are incredibly proud of her hard work and dedication, and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in her new role!

We had an amazing week at Emergent’s ACT Camp in Lompoc, CA!

Led by Jenn Posey, Director of Emergent’s California location, campers spent the week learning and practicing skills from our AIM curriculum through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and real-life experiences.

Throughout the week, campers practiced engaging in the present moment, defusion, identifying their values, and taking committed action toward what matters most to them — all core foundations of the AIM hexaflex.

We loved seeing our AIM Explorers put these skills into action while enjoying the beautiful California scenery!

Meet Brandy Stewart!

Brandy is an RBT at our Troy and Highland, IL locations and has been part of the Emergent team for over a year. She earned her degree in Psychology with a concentration in Pre-Social Services and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Brandy is also one of Emergent’s practicum students, studying under BCBA MyKenzie Kloess and receiving mentorship across the key areas of practicum experience. This hands-on learning allows her to continue building her skills and knowledge while
preparing for the next step in her career.

Brandy is known around her centers for being a positive light who is always happy to help in any capacity. Outside of Emergent, she loves reading, was a collegiate athlete, and most of all, loves seeing the progress made by the kids she works with.

We’re so grateful to have Brandy on our team!
