Yesterday, Sunrise students and staff came together to celebrate International Peace Day. 🕊️ It was a heartfelt gathering, featuring poems about peace shared by some of our upper elementary students and concluded with everyone singing, “Light a Candle for Peace” together. 🕯️

An activist, feminist, humanitarian, doctor, and education revolutionary, her role in advancing education, promoting peace and social justice, and advocating for children’s rights cannot be understated.
