It’s Thanksgiving week, and we’re taking an opportunity to post about a Master’s Student who we’re SO thankful for! This year, we have seen Dezerai Seitzer pour out her heart in service for others time after time. From power sawing and painting to hugging and praying, this student has truly been the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus. Dezerai, we honor you and thank you for being a model student in living out what it means to be a servant of all. Thank you!

SUM Napa students have been busy! Students participated in a CITY OUTREACH called CANDYLAND, where they hosted 2,000 people and provided a fun and safe place for families to get candy on Halloween. Some also threw a fun costume party for local Young adults and College students.

SPOTTED YESTERDAY: Our cohort advisor and one of our students helping remodel a new church plant in Winters, CA! Did we mention that the church is being planted by one of our ALUMNI?!? What a time to be a part of the SUM Napa community 🙌🎉

It’s unofficially official, SUM Student Appreciation day today! We love each and every one of our SUM Napa students! We pray peace and blessings over all of you today!

Today’s chapel was GREAT! We started with writing 2-minute sermons based off of our favorite verses; then we had guest speaker, Loren Zamora, speak to us out of Matthew 16:21-25. Who said Mondays are the worst day of the week?! Not us 😏

One of our district presbyters, Rev. Abe Daniel, gave us a powerful Word today at our staff chapel! We love how our pastor creates spaces for us to receive the Word of God alongside the Hillside staff. 🙌
