The St. Maximilian Kolbe Novena begins tomorrow!

Join the Kolbe Academy community for nine days of prayer as we prepare to celebrate the feast of our patron saint on August 14.

Beginning tomorrow, August 6, we’ll share the prayer for each day here on social media. We invite you to follow along and pray with us for our families, our community, and a blessed school year.

St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us!

Kolbe Academy Executive Director Mary Rowles is currently making a pilgrimage to Nagasaki, Japan, where she is visiting sites connected to the rich history of the Catholic faith in Japan.

Her journey has included St. Maximilian Kolbe’s Seibo-no-Kishi monastery, as well as the shrine and museum honoring the Twenty-Six Martyrs of Japan. Throughout her pilgrimage, she is remembering the Kolbe Academy community and its intentions in prayer.

We’ve loved seeing the creative artwork submitted by students participating in the Kolbe Academy Summer Reading Challenge! Here are just a few of the wonderful entries we’ve received so far.

Tomorrow, August 1, is the final day to submit your completed reading tracker and artwork.

Students who complete the challenge will receive:
