Earlier this month, our high school students spent a week camping at Cape Perpetua on the central Oregon Coast. Despite two days of unseasonably early torrential rain, we had a great time!

Our gratitude goes out to the adolescent program students at St. Helena Montessori for cooking and serving a wonderful community dinner to benefit our athletics program. Athletes from both small high school programs join together in a multi-campus agreement to allow all student athletes to participate and thrive. And thank you to the St. Helena Montessori community and the St. Max community for coming out to support such a worthy cause!

On Sep. 8, 1980, the feast of the nativity of the Blessed Mother, Kolbe Academy opened its doors. More than 46 years later, St. Maximilian Catholic School serves a larger and more diverse local population with a dynamic classical education rooted in traditional Catholicism while Kolbe Academy Homeschool reaches a worldwide audience of thousands. We are profoundly grateful for all of the hard work and sacrifices that our founders made and for all of the financial support of our donors who have made this dream an ongoing reality.

The St. Max's community congratulates Joseph Quinn, Class of 2022 and Crystal Quinn (Lopez), Class of 2024 on their marriage this past Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Yountville. Please join us in praying for them as they begin their married life together.

St. Maximilian Catholic School inaugurated its 2026-2027 school year with a special Mass on August 14th, the feast of our patron, St. Maximilian Kolbe. Tremendous gratitude to Fr. Thomas Stuart for celebrating Mass for us to fill in for the vacationing Fr. Gary who celebrated his birthday the same day.
