We had a visit from Eldex, one of our sponsors, yesterday! We were so excited to show them our current progress and how we are getting ready for competing at the Las Vegas Regional! We are incredibly great full for each and every one of our sponsors and love getting to show them what we do!

We were assigned the task of modifying children’s toys to make them more accessible for disabled kids! We got to re-wire and edit bubble machines, race car tracks, painting machines, and more. We look forward to seeing these kids get the opportunity to play like other children, something that some parents never thought their child would achieve. This is the stuff our teams hopes to do more in the future: help our community!

We can’t thank everyone enough for the amazing support we’ve been given throughout the year! It’s certainly been an adventure, and while our numbers in our events don’t prove how well we’ve done, we know that we performed outstandingly. We look forward to the fun, and challenges, that face us ahead.

We were sorry to hear the announcement earlier this morning that due to COVID-19, the FIRST robotics season has been postponed indefinitely. A huge thank you from the Napa High Cellar Rats to our loyal sponsors, mentors, and parents who have dedicated so much time to our team this season. We look forward to continuing to work with you all, and hope that our fellow FRC teams are staying safe and healthy during this time!🤖

Thank you very much to for talking us on a tour of their airplane production line! We really enjoyed seeing how the the planes are constructed, and especially enjoyed learning about the mechanics behind the new 777X and it’s carbon fiber wings. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to visit your facility!

On Wednesday, a few members of our team had the opportunity to see, and even test out, two different types of surgical robots at the Queen of the Valley Hospital’s Robotic Career Day presentation; the Da Vinci XI robot by Intuitive Surgical, and the Mako robot by Stryker. Both robots are used regularly by the hospital, and other hospitals around the world, to perform life-saving, minimally invasive surgeries. We enjoyed the presentation, and are very grateful that we had the opportunity to see how robotics is applied in the medical world!

Our 2nd annual spaghetti feed this past Friday went amazing! We had a fantastic night and a great turnout. We are extremely grateful for everyone who came out and supported us! It’s going to be a great year!
