There are only two days left in our Read-A-Thon, and the competition is getting tight!! Several classes have already raised over $2,000, and many others are not far behind. Every donation right now can make a big difference in where classes end up on the leaderboard.

If you haven’t already, please make sure your child is signed up and take a minute to share their Read-A-Thon page with family and friends. There are some amazing prizes and only two days left for your child’s class to make their move. Let’s see who finishes on top!!

Our Read-A-Thon competition hasn’t officially started yet, but signups are already in full swing! Mrs. Slavin's class has taken an early lead, but Mrs. Drozdowicz, Mrs. Wolfe, and Mrs. Morton are right on her tail! We have so many exciting prizes planned this year, and we want every student to have the chance to participate. Families, please be sure to sign your child up and enter the email addresses of family and friends so they can help support your student and raise money for their class. With the cold weather sticking around, we truly appreciate students coming to school dressed warmly and prepared for the day. Jackets, sweatshirts, and layers help keep everyone comfortable so they can focus on learning and enjoying time with their classmates. Thank you for helping your child start the day ready for whatever the weather brings! Our adorable friends in F4 comfortably enjoyed recess today thanks to their warm clothing!

Willow Elementary will have construction on campus from February 2 through March 5 that will affect parking, drop-off, and pick-up traffic flow. Please refer to the posted map/image for specific directions on where to drop off and pick up students during construction. The highlighted green areas show the temporary traffic and construction zones.
To help arrival and dismissal run as safely and efficiently as possible, please plan ahead:
Allow extra time in the morning. Traffic will be heavier than usual, so please leave earlier to ensure your child is not late.

Use alternate drop-off options when possible. Fourth and fifth-grade students may be dropped off from the back of the school to help reduce congestion in front.

Do not drop students off from the second lane at any time. Double-lane drop-off is unsafe and not permitted, regardless of schedule pressures.

Leave designated spaces open for staff parking so school operations can continue smoothly.

Park legally in surrounding neighborhoods and follow all posted signs and restrictions. Do not block homeowners’ driveways. Always park parallel to the curb.

When parking in residential areas,

Please pick up any trash or items that fall from your vehicle or belongings during drop-off and pick-up.

Expect longer pickup times in the afternoon due to increased traffic volume.

We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and consideration for our neighbors while these improvements are being completed. Our shared priority is keeping students safe and on time.
