THE LCCC 2025 COMMUNICATION ARTS STUDENT ART EXHIBITION

Friday, May 09, 2025 through Friday, June 06, 2025
Opening Reception: FRIDAY, MAY 09, 2025 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The LCCC 2025 Communication Arts Student Art Exhibition will be presented in the Schulman Gallery of Luzerne County Community College and will run from Friday, May 09, 2025 through Friday, June 06, 2025. The Exhibition highlights original artworks in a variety of media and categories created by students currently enrolled in the Communication Arts Program of Luzerne County Community College.
The Opening Reception will be held on Friday, May 09, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., which will include live piano music and light fare, and feature portfolio presentations and the presentation of President’s Choice Awards in the Gallery.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Gallery Hours: Mondays - Fridays 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The 43rd ANNUAL SUZANNE MARIA ROSSETTI MEMORIAL JURIED ART SHOW WINNER'S EXHIBITION will be presented in the Schulman Gallery of Luzerne County Community College and will run from Sunday, March 02, 2025 through Wednesday, April 09, 2025. There will be an Opening Reception on Sunday, March 02, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Gallery (Snow Date-Sunday, March 09, 2025) which will include tours of the LCCC Communication Arts Department at 2:00 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. and a presentation of Special Awards at 4:00 p.m. in the James T. Atherton Gymnasium.
The exhibition is sponsored by Joe and Sue Hand and features artworks created by students in grades 7-12 in the Back Mountain, Tunkhannock, and Northwest Areas.

The LCCC 2025 Faculty & Alumni Art Exhibition will be presented in the Schulman Gallery of Luzerne County Community College and will run from Friday, January 24, 2025 through Friday, February 21, 2025. There will be an Opening Reception on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Snow Date Monday, January 27, 2025 6-8 PM). The exhibition will feature original artworks created by the Faculty and Alumni of LCCC.
LCCC Faculty and Alumni that wish to participate in the LCCC 2025 Faculty & Alumni Art Exhibition must visit the Schulman Gallery website at: https://luzerne.edu/schulmangallery/ to complete and submit via email the Agreement Form and include up to 2 digital file images of original artworks created by the Artist/Exhibitor within the past five years for possible inclusion in the exhibition.
You must be a faculty member or an alumnus of LCCC to participate in this exhibition.
THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2024. Any submissions received after 12/13/2024 will not be accepted.

WOOD, WATER, and STONE an art exhibition of watercolor paintings by Frank Wengen and Sculptures by David Green will be presented in the Schulman Gallery of Luzerne County Community College and will run from Friday, November 08, 2024 through Wednesday, December 18, 2024. There will be an Opening Reception on Friday, November 08, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Snow Date: Monday, November 11, 2024 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.) in the gallery which will feature live piano music, light fare, gourmet coffee creations by Xpress-Oh! Catering, and refreshments. The Exhibition showcases a selection of meticulously rendered watercolor paintings by FRANK WENGEN and exquisitely fashioned sculptures in a variety of wood and stone by DAVID GREEN.

THE ART OF MUSIC EXHIBITION will be presented in the Schulman Gallery of Luzerne County Community College and will run from Friday, September 27, 2024 through Friday, October 25, 2024. There will be an Opening Reception on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Gallery which will feature live piano music, a live string trio performing chamber music, light fare and refreshments. The Exhibition showcases an eclectic selection of visual artworks inspired by music and created by NEPA regional artists, in a variety of media.
