Many thanks again to Chief Boncal and our friends Nanticoke City Fire Department for the use of their ladder truck to fix our flags at the LCCC Walk of Honor 9/11 Memorial. We always appreciate your support helping us on the campus grounds. Luzerne County Community College

This afternoon, Luzerne County Community College requested our assistance at the LCCC Public Safety Training Institute Walk of Honor to remove a flag that was ripped and wrapped around the pole. Members were able to remove old flag and replace with a new one to place the flags at half staff for fallen PA State Police Trooper Michael Pahira.

Deepest condolences to the members of the PA State Police, as well as Trooper Michael Pahira's family, friends, and loved ones. Trooper Pahira answered the call to serve others and made the ultimate sacrifice while carrying out his duties. His dedication, courage, and commitment to protecting the people of the Commonwealth will never be forgotten.
