💙 Parents & Caregivers of GNASD, you’re invited! 💙

We are excited to invite our GNA parents and caregivers to a special Anti-Bullying/Pro-Kindness Workshop designed to help adults support and build upon the important lessons our students will be learning at the Hey Dude, Nice Shoes program in school.

👟 “Hey Dude, Nice Shoes!” 👟

Join us on Monday, October 19, from 5:30–6:30 PM in the Greater Nanticoke Area Auditorium for an engaging, story-driven presentation featuring guest speaker Carolyn Jennings Brown.

Participants will learn about:
✨ Self-awareness
💙 Empathy
🤝 Compassion
🌟 Choosing kindness every day
🏫 How adults can reinforce what students will learn at the in-school presentation

This workshop is an opportunity to work together to create a kinder school and community.

😀Great things are happening in our community!

Every year, a select group of fifth graders from the Greater Nanticoke Area School District spend Day of Caring serving the Mill Memorial Library, earning their place in the group by living out GNA's 3 Be's: Be Safe, Be Caring, Be Responsible.

Even though the district's school year ended before our Day of Caring on June 10, these students made sure they could still take part. They remind us that you're never too young to show up for your community.

We're proud to celebrate these young volunteers for helping kick off Day of Caring 2026. Their service is a wonderful reminder of what this day is all about as we look forward to hundreds of volunteers coming together across the Wyoming Valley on June 10. 💙
