We did it! Mastered to 20. As we close preschool times, moving to kindergarten we hope and pray it stuck. We don't force learning we give opportunities to kids to learn in fun ways so that when they get to kindergarten it clicks. Mastering simple skills like holding a pencil correctly, which hand THEY prefer, starting from the top of the page, those are the skills they can build on.

Meet Mrs. Daja...Our amazing director. Never could we ever have imagined opening this business and finding one of the most amazing human beings in the world. Mrs. Daja has been with us for 5 years. She comes with many years of experience/education. She is a jack of all traits. Hair, nails, tattoos, wrangling kiddos, wrangling staff, amazing mother, wife, and doing it all while looking amazing. The dedication, hard work, willingness to grow and the love this woman comes with is above and beyond. Any child, person, animal is lucky to be graced with her presence. Starting in our baby room and moving up to every classroom, she was destined for a leadership position. She is an advocate for all children and staff alike. Empathic, making her perfect to understand what parents/children need, she will always make sure you're taking care of, even helping you find care elsewhere if needed. I can't say enough about this woman. We love and adore this woman and are so proud to welcome her officially from assistant director to director ❤️. We love you Mrs. Daja!

Meet Ms. Stephanie. As our newest member under a year. We are sooooo lucky to have her experience and easy going personality grace our center. She comes to us with different types of experiences/training both childcare and non childcare. She has new ideas and is a natural born leader. Any time I walk into the room she is on the floor with children climbing on her or doing some cool new thing with the toys/objects that allows the kiddos imagination grow. If you meet her for the first time you would think she is not much of a talker, but get to know her and the hilarious sense of humor she has, and you'll understand why she is a perfect fit for our littles. She is educated on child development and has natural maternal instincts. One day she will be an amazing momma. This girl is hiding big things and we are so excited to see what else she comes up with. We love and appreciate Ms. Stephanie.

Meet Ms. Emiley. Our loving and oh so kind 1's & 2's lead teacher. Now also assistant director! She came to us over 3 years ago with an eager attitude and gentle approach we just had to have her! She quickly climbed the ladder and wasn't afraid to take on any task. As an amazing momma herself she was a perfect fit for our littles, giving them the 1 on 1 attention and love they need. Parents never need to worry as she pays attention to the smallest details concerning her kiddos. She knows when they don't feel well, need some more love, or just want to get up and dance it out! It almost impossible to catch her without a kiddo on her hip or 10 kiddos surrounding her ready for her hugs. Her gentle approach reminds us all, why we do this. We are forever grateful she entered 1st Steps that day years ago ❤️. Thank you Ms. Emiley and congratulations on your new position your gonna be great!

Meet Ms. Sam. Our chaos coordinator. Ms. Sam has been with us for about 3 years. She definitely never gets the credit she deserves. She is able to walk into a room of chaos and help calm and redirect the kiddos. When teachers need help she is quick to jump into action. Kiddo's love and listen to her with eager ears ready to learn a new fun activity she has made up. Whether taking them on a Lego train ride, Jumping out our ABC's, bringing back our old lullaby's or showing us the latest and greatest new songs that all the kids can't sit still to, the kids can't wait to see what's next with her. Her heart and intentions are pure and she is a true advocate for the kiddos. She deserves a round of applause and I'm forever grateful for her dependable, hard working ethics. We love Ms. Sam and are so proud of her. Thank you for being our quiet, non attention seeking, loving teacher.

Meet Ms. Emma. She has been with us for 3 years. She is most likely the first face you'll see when entering our center. Currently in college for early childhood education she wants to be a 1st grade teacher soon! All of our kids are drawn to Ms. Emma. They love giving her hugs and her kind approach helps them feel so comfortable at drop off. She has the energy to keep up with these kids and we couldn't have asked for a better person to set these kiddos up for kindergarten success! My own child benefited from taking her preschool class and graduating last year. Thank you Ms. Emma for all you do for our kiddos! We love you!

Ms. Jocelyn came to us in high-school. She trained with us from the ground up. After graduating with special early childhood education training she was welcomed with open arms as a lead teacher. Don't let her shyness fool you, her intuition for infants is top notch. She can tell when they are tired, hungry, not feeling well or just want to be played with. She is not afraid to get down on the floor, hands in paint and focus giving 100% to make sure you kiddo is cared for the way you would want your infant cared for. Thank you Ms. Jocelyn for caring for our babies, we love you!
