I know that I have not posted for a very long time. An offhand derisive comment about my pale skin color led to a hiatus. But guess what, I'm back and unapologetic.
Lady Blackwood's Hoodoo Conjure
Join me here for conjure and evolution of spirituality. I will post philosophy and advanced magick, both light and dark. I may even share my Enochian studies.
This page is about sharing and learning. There will be occasional philosophy, and updates on my life and how I deal with it, both in a magickal and non magickal manner. and of course the usual advice on conjure work.
I've reached a point in my practice of magick in which I do not require an Alter all the time, I don't always need to create any kind of a protective space. Basically I have come to the understanding that I only need to have intent and project it. I now do ceremonies and rituals for the pleasure of it. Yes I still use the tools of the practice of magic but I have advanced enough that it is not a necessity. I don't need to rhyme my chants to get the powerful results I desire.
To absolutely need the standard tools and implements is a sign of a novice. Once you have become Advanced enough you only need your mind to get tangible results.

An amazing friend of mine sent me this. Thank you Ron.
There are two versions of this book. There is the fiction, then there is the powerful grimoire, a nonfiction. This one is the Grimoire.

There is a most powerful form of projection of intent. It is a temporary devolution, a reverting to a primitive mindset to build energy. It has different labels across cultures.
You find someplace isolated, far from eyes and ears. Once you have found it, you build a fire, this is not entirely necessary, but it helps to get you in the right frame of mind. Call upon your distant ancestors to guide you. From there, once the ancestors have shown you the way, work yourself into a primitive and crazed state of mind. You must involve physical activity here. There can be dancing, flailing, whatever it takes to build the necessary energy to work the magick. Use your anger, use your pain, channel the war ceremonies of your ancestors, scream, howl, etc. Build up as much energy as you possibly can, then visualize your adversary or problem, then with one final scream, (any relevant word or name will do)release all that energy to fly like a flung spear to the adversary. You can be sure that it will work. Of course, before you do this take a moment to be sure that they are deserving of such a thing as this.
Throughout the rite, allow your creativity to flow freely. If you get a sudden urge to add any action to the rite, absolutely do it. You'll likely need a cool shower afterward. After this point, dismiss the memory of what you have done, it does not gave to be completely erased from your memory, but the more you think or speak of the rite, the less power the magick will have.
The thing about the philosophy of "harm to none" is that its pretty impractical. To what point are you willing to refuse to harm another? Will you let them walk over you? Will you allow them to hurt you or your loved ones without interference or prevention? Sometimes you must let your darkness prevail, for that side of your power is a tool to help and benefit, or a weapon to used in defense or prevention. Magick can help you to ascend or it can bury you.
The spirits are among us more than ever now. The world of the incorporeal has been slowly merging with ours for a couple of years now. Belief in spirits is part of the key that has unlocked that door. There have been more and more sightings, more recordings, and more experiences that are being shared worldwide thanks to technology. Also, with all that have lived and died here since the beginnings of human life, well, the living, no matter how numerous, are outnumbered by the dead. There is nothing to be feared from the majority of the incorporeal. The human spirits pose almost no threat to is. Now the inhuman spirits, there's another story. A human spirit must build up energy over a long period of time to manifest while an inhuman one does not have that limitation. Regardless, there is more to be feared from the living than there is from the incorporeal.
"The joy of life consists in the exercise of one's energies, continual growth, constant change, the enjoyment of every new experience. To stop means simply to die. The eternal mistake of mankind is to set up an attainable ideal."
Aleister Crowley
Let's work on our extrasensory perception. These are games that I played with others as a child, some we invented ourselves, others we got from books.
See auras
In a room with slightly dimmed light, have a friend sit against the wall. Now stand or sit a little ways from your friend. Start by focusing on them, then shift your gaze slightly as though you were looking at a far distant point but keep your eyes on your friend and silence your mind. After a little while you will begin to see a glow around them. This is the beginning stage of seeing auras. With practice you will begin to discern the colors around them and not just a faint white glow. You will also be able to use this technique in any light and any location.
Sensing the aura by sensation.
Sit with your back to your friend and, without touching you, have them move their dominant hand, palm forward over your back, stopping in different locations and once again quiet your mind. When they stop, they will be required to let you know that they have and you try to tell them where their hand is located. They are not allowed to touch you at all, just holding their hand a half inch to an inch away from your back. With practice you will be able to sense not just the presence of the aura but also it's nature. Alternately you can have your friend place a living object like a leaf in one of two identical boxes. When they have done so, close your eyes and hold out your hands and have them Place both boxes in your hand. Now use your focus and your perception to seal which box has the living Leaf in it. You will find that you are almost always right.
Developing telepathy
You and your friend are to sit in separate rooms, each with a piece of paper and a pencil. Take turns drawing a simple picture, whenever you finish a picture then you focus on it and let them know that you have finished. If you want you can tell them what the picture is of but no description. Then they draw a picture of what they can see in their minds eye of what you drew. You will be quite surprised to find that your drawings are pretty much identical most of the time. This will help you develop telepathy.
More later....
A question that I am asked on occasion is:
Should I teach my children my beliefs? If you wish you can, of course it is your path. Children can make up their own minds in time what they want to believe and what they don't. Belief is a funny thing, it evolves and changes as we learn more. No one should be permanently set in their ways, if they are, they become spiritually lethargic.
I can never stress enough that inspiration is directly from the Divinity of the self. It is a gift and should be utilized. If you are in the middle of a spell or ritual and you suddenly have an inspiration to change anything at all. Do it.
