Columbia Wildcat Baseball was originated in the spring of 2006 with just a freshman baseball squad until the high school officially opened that fall. who came from Skyview High School the boys pulled off the unthinkable and won the 4A State Title against a very powerful Minico team who had dominated the tournament.
