We love providing opportunities for our Gators to connect with older students and catch a glimpse of what their future in high school can look like. Thank you for sharing your time, energy, and school spirit with us. You helped make the night extra special!

🍿 Popcorn is BACK! 🍿

Tomorrow is our first Popcorn Thursday of the year!

Students may purchase up to 2 bags of popcorn, and each bag is just $0.50.

We can't wait to see our Gators showing off their brand-new Gator Gear or dressed in their favorite blue and green spirit wear! 💙💚

Parent Teacher Conferences Happening Soon!

Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on:
📅 Wednesday, September 30th — 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
📅 Thursday, October 1st — 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Teachers shared sign-up information with families yesterday through ParentSquare. We’re looking forward to meeting with families and sharing all the wonderful progress our students are making! Please sign up as soon as possible so that we can make sure to meet with all families!

🎉🐊 SPIRIT WEEK IS COMING! 🐊🎉

Get ready, Gators! We can't wait to see everyone show off their school spirit during our Spirit Week for the TAILGATOR! Join the fun by dressing up each day and showing your creativity. 💚💛

🦸 Monday: Heroes vs. Villains! Will you save the day or cause a little mischief? Dress as your favorite hero or villain and show us who you're rooting for!
🏈 Tuesday: Sports Day! Wear your favorite sports jersey, team colors, or athletic gear and represent the sport or team you love most!
🤪 Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday! Mix and match your clothes, wear crazy socks, silly hats, or fun hairstyles. The wackier, the better!
🐊 Thursday: Gator Pride Day! Wear your Sherman gear or school colors! Let's fill our school with Gator pride and finish the week strong! We will see everyone then at 5:30 pm for the TAILGATOR!

We are one week out from our TAILGATOR and we so excited to see our Sherman families on September 17th from 5:30–7:00 PM! Come out for an evening full of fun, food, dancing, sports, community resources, raffles, and more!

🎉 EVENT LINEUP
5:30 PM – KICKOFF!
When you arrive, each person will receive a ticket for a FREE meal, including:
🌭 1 hot dog with bun
🥔 1 bag of chips
💧 1 water

6:00 PM – Oyamel Folklorico 💃🏽
Enjoy a special performance from the Oyamel Folklorico Dance Group!

6:30 PM – LAST CALL FOR RAFFLE TICKETS! 🎟️
Raffle tickets are $1 each.
⭐ Sherman Elementary students receive 1 FREE raffle ticket!

6:45 PM – RAFFLE DRAWING! 🎉
We will draw winners for each of our raffle items!
