Central Elementary Nampa

The beginning of the 2026-2027 school year is quickly approaching.

Central will get the year started at Centennial Learning Campus located at 522 Mason Lane. Our 1st day of school for 1st-5th will be Wednesday, August 12th.

Kindergarteners will join us on Monday, August 17th following orientations on Wednesday, 12th and Thursday, 13th. Watch for Kindergarten Orientation sign-ups coming soon in ParentSquare.

Here are Central's office hours for August 3rd-6th:

Monday, 3rd: 1:00-7:00p * New Student Registration
Tuesday, 4th: 8:00a-2:00p *New Student Registration
Wednesday, 5th: 9:00a-3:00p
Thursday, 6th: 9:00a-3:00p

Remember that anyone with a completed Final Forms registration by Friday, July 31st will be placed in a drawing for a $25.00 gas card.

📢 Central Elementary Update

The Nampa School District Board of Trustees has approved the temporary relocation of Central Elementary to the Centennial Learning Campus for the start of the 2026–2027 school year following the significant water damage caused by the July 17 storm during the school's roof replacement project.

To provide students and staff with consistency, Central will remain at Centennial through Christmas Break, with plans to return to the Central campus after Winter Break once repairs are complete.

🎒 Grades 1–5 First Day: August 12

Is your student returning to the Nampa School District this fall? The Returning Student process is open! The Nampa School District requires parents or guardians of returning students to review contact phone numbers, address, emergency and health information for their student that is contained in Final Forms, and to review the district's policies and procedures.

IF you’re in need of transportation for the 2026-2027 school year, your Final Forms registration must be completed by July 31, 2026. Bus stop information will be shared on August 5, 2026, via ParentSquare.

Details to know:
• Completion of the Annual Information Update is mandatory for all parents of returning students.
• Final Forms accounts are tied to the parent's e-mail address. Parents should log in to their Final Forms account prior to verifying that their email address and password are correct. If a password has been forgotten, click on the "Forgotten Password" link to establish a new one.

Our wonderful friends at Idaho Lottery are making sure our students have a fully stocked variety of art supplies for this coming year!

Mrs. Raass submitted a classroom wishlist full of amazing art supplies and the wishlist was fully funded over the summer break and this is just a tiny sneak peek!

Mark your calendars for August 5th for OPEN HOUSE!
Doors will be open from 5:00-7:00 PM.

While the Open House is open to all students (including Kindergarten) our Kindergarten students will have a special orientation time on August 10th or 11th. Be sure to check ParentSquare for information about that, or call the office to check your orientation time.

Kindergarten will have their first full day of school on August 12th.

Shoutout to Northwest Nazarene University (formally Northwest Nazarene College) for having all of their historical yearbooks digitized for easy access to this amazing Throwback Thursday picture!

Once again, this throwback takes a peak inside of our fantastic gymnasium!

In December 1940, during the Christmas holiday, the NNC CRUSADERS, (now known as the NIGHTHAWKS) held an exhibition match against the HARLEM GLOBE TROTTERS.

The wooden theater style seating was packed full. Everyone wanted a chance to watch this unforgettable game.

Unfortunately NNC lost 43-33, but the memory of that spectacular even will live on forever when people reminisce about notable activities held in our Central Assembly Building.
