My corrections class taking the second tour of the semester. Thanks Ada County for an excellent tour of the jail!

The first tour of the semester for my Corrections class. What a great taste of history at the Old Idaho State Penitentiary! The weather was chilly and rainy, but we enjoyed the tour. David, our guide, did an excellent job!

I’d like to thanks Idaho POST Executive Director Brad Johnson and Nampa PD Lieutenant Jason Kimball for attending my Law Enforcement/Community Policing final exam (presentations) today! Your comments and questions were incredibly helpful and much appreciated!

Also, I would like to thank my department chair, LeAnn Stensgaard and Professor John Stennett for coming!

And finally...a shout out to my students! Rae Young, Kahilu McNicoll, Gabe Miles, Tayler Markland, Coby Yates, Ben Weaver, Ashley Bliss and Cameron Duke! You all put in a great deal of hard work this semester and it payed off...your presentations were outstanding! Thank you!

A special day today for a NNU graduate I’m REALLY PROUD OF my former student and TA! She graduated from the Idaho State Police Academy today. Congratulations, Trooper Kristin Noah!

Graduation day at Northwest Nazarene University! This is my first group of students I have had from freshman year until graduation. I am SO PROUD of them! When you get to be involved with such bright young minds...who love Jesus, you know the future of our country will be in very capable hands as God directs their lives in service to others!

A graduation celebration at Dr. Marion’s house. I’m so proud of my graduates, Sondee Mink, Trevor Keefover and Nathan Maupin. Only downside, my other graduates, Tiffany Schwenck, Alli Byron and Jaramy Jacobs weren’t able to make it😢. But, I’ll see them at Commenecement on Saturday!
