Please join us in welcoming our new drama teacher, Ms. Radandt!

Ms. Radandt is a new teacher here at Skyview certified in Theatre and History. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Theatre (Directing & Design) with minors in History and Basque Studies and more recently a Masters in Teaching- Secondary Education. She has experience working in schools as a substitute, paraprofessional, behavior interventionist, and middle school drama teacher. However, this is her first year having her own classroom and says being a member of the Skyview team is a dream job.

Ms. Radandt likes to spend time with her family, so much so that they lived in a van together for two weeks over the summer. She enjoys any creative pursuit; favorites include painting and playing bass in a band (poorly).

Please welcome our new dental teacher, Ms. Cahill!

"My name is Nicole Cahill. I grew up and graduated from high school in Homedale, Idaho. After graduating high school, I attended school for Dental Assisting. I have worked as a dental assistant in Anchorage, Alaska, for the last 15 years. I have two teenage boys, ages 14 and 16, and one dog.

I recently moved back to Idaho in July to be closer to my family. Some of my favorite things are reading anything by Colleen Hoover, hiking in the mountains, and running.

As this is my first year teaching, I am very excited to share my knowledge of the dental field with my students. Dentistry is an amazing profession, and I hope to inspire and help cultivate the interests of future dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants."

Please join us in welcoming our new nurse, Nicole Alcorn!

"Hello everyone! My name is Nicole Alcorn, and I am excited to be joining the Skyview High School family as your school nurse this year.

I have been a registered nurse for 17 years. I spent my first 12 years working in public health before transitioning to school nursing 5 years ago. During my time with Nampa School District, I've had the opportunity to work at Lake Ridge Elementary, New Horizons, and most recently South Middle School for the past two years. Last year, I earned my Nationally Certified School Nurse (NCSN) credential, a certification that recognizes specialized knowledge and expertise in school nursing.

Outside of work, I've been married to my husband, Chris, for 16 years. We have two children—our son, Michael, is a sophomore here at Skyview, and our daughter is an 8th grader at South Middle School.

I am excited to be part of the Skyview community and look forward to getting to know all of you. Please don't hesitate to stop by the health office, say hello, or reach out if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help however I can."
