Hello former ACVS staff, students, and friends:).

A group of us is organizing an ACVS reunion to casually reconnect and share some time together. All former ACVS employees, students, friends, and their families are welcome to join us for a couple of hours at Optimist Park by Birch Elementary in Nampa at 4:30 on Wednesday, May 24th. We plan on providing pizza, dessert, a little fun, and good company. We recommend bringing lawn chairs or picnic blankets, and even your outdoor games.

ACVS is partnering with Wilder School District's virtual school to create a smooth transition for our students in providing a similar educational program. Many of our teachers and curriculum are transitioning there as well.

Please come to the ACVS Nampa Lab on June 16th 10 AM to 7 PM and June 17th 8 AM to 4 PM for in person registration. ACVS and Wilder teachers and staff will be here to assist you.

Idaho parents and caregivers, mark you calendars! Raising Resilient Kids: Mental Health Matters (airing Tuesday, June 28, at 8 PM on Idaho Public Television) is a powerful hourlong special featuring some of Idaho’s top mental health experts. They will share their ideas on how to talk with kids about mental health, so parents and caregivers can be more effective in these critical conversations.

Learn what to do when your child is not OK, when to seek professional help, and how to help your kids be more resilient and hopeful, even when dealing with anxiety and stress. Hear some ideas about how to keep them healthy over the summer when school is out. Learn as a parent how you too can stay resilient, even when life is difficult.
