Proud to announce that Empty Hand Combat received an Enhancement Grant from the Backing Small Businesses program supported by American Express, in partnership with Main Street America - U*S*A.

We were among the 500 Backing Small Businesses grantees awarded a grant in 2025, and now have been selected among 25 of those grantees for an additional enhancement grant to help us address community-specific needs.
We are so excited to be among the recipients of this program!
For Empty Hand Combat this grant will help us with our offline and online marketing. We will be able to train more Warriors for Life!!!

It's a great opportunity to get out and enjoy a day of fishing without a fishing license (all other rules still apply).

Our regions will be hosting a few Free Fishing Day events, bringing fishing gear to various fishing spots, loaning rods, reels and tackle, and helping people learn to fish.

🔥 STRONGER PENALTIES FOR PASSIVITY
In the final 10 seconds:�🚫 Stepping out of bounds�🚫 Falling down�🚫 Avoiding engagement
👉 Will result in Gam-jeom + 2 points to the opponent

💥 What changes?�1️⃣ No more “freezing” the fight�2️⃣ Constant attacking until the very end�3️⃣ More dramatic comebacks
⚠️ No one will be able to manage the clock passively

📈 NEW POINT GAP (MAXIMUM LEAD)
⬆️ Increased from 12 to 15 points
