New Supplemental Levy for Vallivue School District up for Vote Since 1975, a supplemental levy has been in place to help fund the Vallivue School District's salaries and programs not covered by the state. August 29 is the day to vote.

We got the teachers assigned today! Don’t forget to check infinite campus and we will see you at the meet and greet on Monday!!

East Families,
We are excited about this new school year. Please click the link to read through the start of the year information. Please make sure your Infinite Campus Parent Portal is working as this will be the way to access your child's teacher for this upcoming school year beginning August 9th. Plan to join us on Aug 14th for Meet the Teacher from 3-5pm. School supplies may be dropped off at this time as well. If you have not completed your registration with shot records and birth certificate, please get that done as soon as possible. Not having a complete application may delay your child in starting school. We look forward to another great year of learning and making memories! Go Thunderbolts!

So there has been some concern in other mom groups I'm in and I spoke to East Canyon today and thought I would share some information I found out... If you are enrolling your child or doing the yearly application that we have to do there is a message talking about LAKEVUE Elementary. This message is on every form because it is a generalized form. We go to East Canyon and we saw it as well.

The message says that the school is not taking students and they are going to be bussed to Central Canyon. Again this message is only for parents who are enrolling in Lakevue so you don't have to worry about it.

NORTH NAMPA ROAD CLOSURES UPDATE // We know there has been a lot happening in North Nampa this construction season and it is our goal to help you move through Nampa around construction. Even though it may not feel like it, there has been a huge effort put towards coordinating with the multiple jurisdictions in this area (Canyon Highway 4 & Nampa Highway 1) as well as accommodating utility projects. These are the upcoming road closures in the area:

•Linden Rd from Northside Blvd to Madison Rd- This is a CHD project that has been delayed and they plan to resume construction mid-Aug and anticipate being completed by Sept 4, 2023. Please call CHD for any questions (208) 454-8135
•Franklin Blvd from Linden Rd to US 20/26- Closed beginning Monday, July 24 through November 30, 2023, for a utility project.
•Franklin Blvd from Cherry to Ustick- Closed Aug 1- Aug 14, 2023, for an emergency road and culvert repair due to failure of the irrigation culvert roadway patch installed during a development project.
