Our 8th graders had an un-bounce-lievable time at Sky Zone! From soaring through the air to sharing laughs with friends, it was a day full of energy, excitement, and unforgettable memories. 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who generously contributed donations to help make this field trip possible. Your support gave our students the opportunity to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories together. We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity!

From powerful research and creative presentations to impressive displays that brought history to life, these young historians demonstrated incredible dedication, critical thinking, and passion for learning. We are so proud of their hard work and outstanding achievements!

Our students at South are bringing history to life through National History Day! Through research, creativity, and collaboration, these students have not only explored important moments from the past—they’ve stepped into the role of teachers, sharing their knowledge and passion with younger students.

Watching them present, explain, and inspire others shows that learning history is about more than dates and events—it’s about understanding stories, making connections, and passing knowledge forward. We’re proud of their hard work, leadership, and commitment to learning.

A huge congratulations to the **South Orchestra** on a wonderful **End of Year Concert** under the direction of **Mr. Ash and Mr. Flanagan**. From the first note to the final bow, our students showcased their hard work, dedication, and musical growth throughout the year.

❤️ **Love That Mom – 6th Grade Poetry Project** ❤️

Every year in Mrs. Wilson’s 6th grade class, students dive into a poetry unit inspired by the beautiful children’s book Love That Dog by Sharon Creech. As part of this special tradition, students create their own heartfelt version called **“Love That Mom.”**

Using poetry, paint, and creativity, each student writes a personal poem for their mom and pairs it with a hand-painted picture—creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake filled with love and appreciation.

The results are always meaningful, creative, and a beautiful reflection of the bond between a child and their mom. We are so proud of our young poets and artists! 💐🎨✍️

Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week at South and the love keeps coming! 🍎✨

Today, our teachers were spoiled with gift bags filled with colorful pens (because teachers *always* appreciate a good pen! 🖊️), oversized sticky notes, and a few sweet treats to keep us going.

A huge thank you to our staff admin for making us feel so appreciated —we are one *write* bunch, and today definitely left its mark! 😉

☕🍎 We’re kicking off Teacher Appreciation Week in the best way—one favorite drink at a time! Today, every staff member was treated to their go-to coffee or specialty drink from Forget Me Not Coffee Co., thanks to an incredibly generous group of parents who wanted to spoil our teachers and staff.

We espresso how much this thoughtful gesture means, and we’re feeling extra loved as we start this special week. 💛
