A HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our “Pie the Teacher in the Face” fundraiser! 🥧😂
Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, in three days, we raised an amazing $326.62! 🎉
The best part? Every dollar will go right back to our students! This money will be used throughout the school year to provide fun rewards, incentives, and special treats for all grade levels.
We are so proud of our students for getting involved and helping make this fundraiser such a success. And, of course, we are grateful to all of the teachers who were willing to take a pie to the face for a great cause! 😆🥧

Ms. Plaschka and Mrs. Legg’s classes took science to new heights while learning about potential and kinetic energy by launching and measuring reaction rockets! Students got hands-on experience seeing how stored energy transforms into motion. 🚀📏

♟️ **Building Connections, One Move at a Time!** ♟️

Our 8th grade counselor, Mr. Jensen, spent some time at lunch today playing chess with a few of our 8th grade students! 💙🤍

At South, we know that some of the most meaningful connections happen outside the classroom. Taking time to laugh, play, and simply be present with students helps build relationships and reminds our Hawks that they have adults in their corner.

Mr. Jensen may be a counselor by day, but at lunch he’s just trying to keep his students **in check!** 😂♟️
