Renaissance culture with a little kitchen project! 🥐🎨
​During the Renaissance, the Medici family and other wealthy patrons heavily funded artists, architects, and culinary masters to foster a massive explosion of creativity and design.

Today, we tied that culture of craftsmanship right into our baking, the kids did an awesome job designing their own pastries, and we baked plenty to share with our younger school mates!

Huge thanks to Peter Vasquez with Second Chance Grace, Inc. And his family for coming out to share such a powerful, inspirational message with our kids!

​His story is a true testimony of God's faithfulness and a reminder of how God can turn any circumstances around. The students were completely locked in and giving him their full attention from start to finish.

​As we pray over our students every single day, we earnestly pray for a way to reach their hearts for Jesus. It was amazing to witness his testimony firsthand and see the students stay so engaged.

​To top it all off, he even brought his mobile jail cell, and the students all agreed that this will be their first and last time entering a jail cell! 😅
​It was fun, interactive, and deeply meaningful. We are so grateful for the impact you made, Peter!

💙💜 A Blessing Worth Celebrating! 💜💙
I am incredibly grateful to share some exciting news: Victory Christian School has been awarded a $5,000 Investment Award from the Herzog Foundation! 🙌

This blessing means so much more to us than the financial investment.

From the beginning, I was blessed to be accepted into the Herzog SchoolBox program, where I have received mentorship, participated in meetings and monthly training, and gained valuable counsel and guidance as we continue building a strong, sustainable, Christ-centered learning environment for our students.

As a small Christian school, we are constantly learning, growing, praying, and working to steward well what God has entrusted to us. Having an organization with the experience and influence of the Herzog Foundation invest not only resources, but also time, mentorship, knowledge, and encouragement into our school has been an incredible honor.

To now have our little school recognized with thisinvestment is both humbling and encouraging. It reminds us just how far God has brought our little school, that we are on the right track and how faithfully He continues to provide as we grow. ❤️

These funds will be an investment directly into the continued growth and strength of our program, helping us better serve the students and families God has placed in our care.

We are so thankful for the Herzog Foundation, for everyone who has mentored and encouraged us along the way, and especially for our VCS families, staff, supporters, and community who continue to believe in what God is doing here.

Every milestone is His. Every open door is His. And we are incredibly grateful for this one.

Check out these awesome mixed-media paper squishies the older students made. They spent time drawing, coloring, and crafting their own 3D versions of popular candy packaging.

​Not only are they fun to squeeze, but the project is a great way to build skills like:
​Visual design: Replicating real logos and layouts through drawing and coloring.
​Basic engineering: Figuring out how to turn flat paper into a sealed, 3D object.
​Sensory focus: Crafting a tactile tool that helps with concentration.
