Sending a special congratulations to our 5th grade students being promoted to 6th grade. Good luck in middle school. THANK YOU to the students, parents, teachers and staff of NHES for an amazing year.

🎉 TODAY is our final PTO meeting of the year!
Meeting starts at 2:45 pm at NHES, meet at Dowdy Park. As always, kiddos are welcome.
We will follow the meeting with a PTO social celebration at Shaka's Beach Bar & Grill starting at 4 pm. All NHES teachers and staff in attendance will get their 1st drink on us. Light appetizers will be served.

“On June 1st at 5:30pm in the Dare County BOC meeting room(954 Marshall Collins Drive, Manteo), Detective Luke Peden from the KDH Police Department will give a presentation on youth safety and internet awareness. Luke is part of the North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
Friends of Youth and the Community of Juvenile Services programs have noticed an increase in cyberbullying, youth online scams, youth oversharing online and crimes against children that we feel we need to be better equipped to handle.
Due to the sensitive topics being discussed, parents, therapists, teachers and other concerned adults would be the intended audience. Please join us if you can attend.
