We are overwhelmed with the support we received Saturday at our FUNdraiser at Outer Banks Brewing Station
Current families, alumni families, old friends, and new friends all gathered for a great cause on a gorgeous day! Our hearts are full! We raised about 8K that will go into our existing expansion fund so that we are able to support more families in this beautiful place we call home 🥰 And most importantly, our kids had a blast and saw their community invested in them 🫶

Our sweet lil school was recently awarded the VELA Horizon Grant 🩵 This funding will help us grow and serve more families in our learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and community come first.

Outer Banks Tennis is excited to be the USTA school partner for OBX Montessori Collective & Wilbur Gardens!

Our awesome parent volunteers and tennis players just kicked off the very first Red Ball Tennis class for their students at Dowdy Park. We are working passionately to introduce more fun and approachable tennis programs to our local community. Tennis, along with all physical activities, provide life long health benefits to all who participate.

Annual Reindeer Games was a hit again ❤️ Big thanks to our head reindeer, Ms. Rose for organizing this fun afternoon, and to all of the teachers and parents who helped run the show!

✨This is a work in progress but after speaking with my WNC friends in the middle of all of this, these are the current needs, with monetary donations being the most important.

I know there are an overwhelming amount of non-profits, organizations, and go-fund-mes out there right now but here is one way to get supplies and cash directly to families in need. Whatever we collect through our non-profit will go right to Mountain Laurel Montessori Collective and distributed where needed, primarily in Old Fort and Black Mountain, NC. 🩵

We are no strangers to extreme weather around here but even we beach people cannot fathom the devastation out west in our beautiful state… sending huge hugs and massive amounts of good vibes to the mountain folks of NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, and anyone else affected by Helene. First load of supplies delivered. Once again, our school community proves how amazing they are 🙏🏼 Keep it coming!

We have a parent who is a pilot willing to take a few loads of supplies as well. Be on the lookout for ways to support his upcoming trips!
