We love Nurse Burns!

School Nurse Danielle Burns at Fredonia Early Childhood Center, Nacogdoches ISD’s Pre-K campus, received a “Be Legendary” T-shirt for her outstanding work in caring for the youngest students in the district. Ms. Burns is a team player, always stepping up to help with arrival and dismissal duties or supporting the front office staff. Through her medical care and her "can-do" attitude, Ms. Burns plays a vital role in keeping Fredonia healthy, safe and happy.

Nacogdoches ISD’s theme for the 2025-26 academic year is “Be Legendary,” and Superintendent Grey Burton is awarding Be Legendary T-shirts to teachers and staff around the district who were nominated by their principal or supervisor. Be Legendary represents an ongoing and longstanding commitment by teachers and staff doing the right things the right way, day after day, week after week, and semester after semester.
