Ah, well… “Hi ho the glamorous life!”
We looking forward to an action-packed 2018-2019 school year! Axe ‘em, Jacks!!!
Applications for choir camp counselors are on the vocal/choral board! Please fill one out and put it back in the envelope on the choral office door.
Choral Union and Women's Choir Members: Please go to the bookstore and purchase your copy of "Holocaust Cantata: Songs from the Camps" by Donald McCullough. We are performing it this March. It is available at Barnes and Nobles under MUP 133.02. The cost is $7.25.
Hey! We need a few more folks to sign up for the choral repertoire class! It is going to be a wonderful class that focuses on middle school and non-varsity level repertoire. It will be great for all of you music ed students to take!!!
Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope you come back rested and ready for an active and busy spring semester!!!
Dear Freshman Vocal Majors:
Find ways to sing this summer! Find a church choir that sings year round. Call churches to see if they need guest soloists while their church choir is on hiatus. Find someone to play for you and go sing at retirement communities. Do not go the entire summer without practicing. It will throw away everything you have worked on this school year. Please take it from someone who learned the hard way long ago.
Congratulations to you all on a FANTASTIC performance tonight. You put amazing work on difficult music. I hope you are proud!!!
A friendly person gave me a tip that the pastor at the Wesley foundation was about to call tow trucks on the cars parked there for last night's rehearsal.
The Wesley Foundation does not follow the same rules as UPD with campus parking. You are NEVER allowed to park there without a permit.
If you park there, you will be towed.
Thank you,
Dr. Fish
Women's Chorus and Choral Union: Combined rehearsals for the Hindemith are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Be there by 6:45 to start at 7:00!!!
