With Notre Dame we again see evidence that humans, on a grand scale, will open their hearts, priorities, and checkbooks to something they truly care for. But how do we also move toward the health of our planet being considered "grand" in the eyes of the masses ... toward making its well being part of social and cultural norms? There is no Planet B!

Our first NSSLHA meeting of the year is September 15th at 5:45pm in Room 321 in the Human Services building! We will be discussing membership requirements, paying dues { $20 for a year }, learning about fun upcoming events, and meeting the new NSSLHA officers! AND FREE FOOD!! Come out and bring a friend!
Please comment on this post saying if you are coming so we know how much grub to get!

Winter Conference 2016 is right around the corner! It is February 5th from 8:30-3:45 (5.5 TSHA CEUs!) in the Twilight Ballroom at SFA! Our guest speaker will be Kimberly Moran, M.S., CCC/SLP, and the topic will be: "Keeping it Fun! Using Play-Based Therapy Principles to Assess and Treat Young Children with Delayed Language and Impaired Social-Pragmatic Skills".
