Got 30 seconds? That’s all it takes to share your best idea in the 30-Second Startup Pitch Competition!

From Sept. 8–Nov. 29, SFA students can pitch live during our Wednesday events in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Spirit Lounge or submit a recorded pitch online. The top idea from each college wins a $1,000 scholarship and automatic entry into the spring Lumberjack Entrepreneurship Competition, plus a chance to win up to $3,000 more in additional scholarships!

No matter your major or classification, if you’ve got a problem to solve, a side hustle, or a business idea worth sharing, this is your chance to step up and Discover Your Vision!

SFA is launching a student-powered, in-house advertising agency this fall through the Arnold Center for Entrepreneurship.

By bringing together students from across academic colleges, SFA is creating one of the only interdisciplinary advertising agency models of its kind in Texas higher education. The agency will allow students to operate in a real agency environment while supporting campus events, ACE partner businesses and NIL campaigns.

Tim L. Wood, who brings decades of agency experience to the role, will lead the agency as entrepreneur-in-residence.
