Dr's. Nina Ellis Hervey, Lisa McCleary, Daniel McCleary, and students kept their skills sharp and got connected at the Annual TASP Convention in San Antonio. Topics included ethical supervision, BASC-3, evidence-based counseling skills, and more! Dr. Nina Ellis Hervey and students, Ashley Doss and DeShae Davis, presented a mini-skills lesson on using social media intervention techniques to prevent childhood obesity. Students attended the graduate student series which featured mock internship interviews.

Drs Lisa and Daniel McCleary represented Stephen F. Austin State University School Psychology Programs at the annual American Psychological Association (APA) Convention's Division 15 poster session in Toronto, Canada.
SASP Division 16 has published their latest edition of School Psychology: From Science to Practice to Policy. Our doctoral program is featured as the chapter spotlight! Thank you, Ashley Doss, for making our program more visible.

Last night, the Introduction to School Psychology (EPS 565) students celebrated all of our accomplishments this semester with pizza (Yum!) and literature review presentations including the following topics: research based systems level interventions for students in military families, systems level interventions to increase critical thinking skills in elementary students, and systems level drop-out prevention! We've learned so much this semester about the practice of school psychology!
