Field Day at Christ Episcopal School! 🏃‍♂️💨

The energy was through the roof as our CES students brought their A-game, incredible team spirit, and a whole lot of smiles to the field. From friendly competitions to cheering on classmates, it was a day packed with unforgettable memories.

Our students gave it their all in some amazing events, including:

Long Jump: Flying through the air to hit new personal bests!

Relay Races: Incredible teamwork and lightning-fast speed. 🏁

Water Balloon Toss: The perfect (and most refreshing) way to cool down! 🎈💦

Tug of War: A true test of pure strength, grit, and determination. 💪

The Bouncy House Obstacle Course: A massive hit where students climbed, flipped, and bounced their way to the finish line!

A huge thank you to Coach Cat and to the parent volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make this day such a massive success for our CES community. Also, thanks goes to ADAC for sending their volunteers and a snow cone machine! The perfect ending after participating in all the fun.

Join us for our God's Gifts Awards Services to close out the school year! 🏆

On May 7th, 2026, thirty incoming freshmen students were inducted as the newest cohort of students into the SFA STEM Academy, a partnership between the SFA STEM Education Research Center and Nacogdoches High School. A rigorous application process evaluating potential candidates included teacher evaluations, superior grades in math and science, essay submissions, and an interview process. Five of Christ Episcopal School's alumni were among these students. We are so proud of Gigi Deppisch, Arulai Middlebrook, Naya Sifuentes, Stella Stovall, and Ethan Burrows. Congratulations to them on their academic achievements.

This past Monday, our campus was buzzing with smiles for our annual Muffins with Mom breakfast. It was such a joy to see our CES moms, grandmothers, and special guests gathered before school to share a meal and some sweet moments with their children.

Whether it was a quick hug over a muffin or a long chat before the first bell, these are the moments that make our Christ Episcopal School community so special.

The CES Enchanted Garden Gala Auction was a huge success! A special thank you to our Spotlight sponsor for your support and devotion to our school. We couldn't have done it without you.

We had front-row seats to the best show in town right here at Christ Episcopal School. Students took the stage for the CES Talent Show and, safe to say, the bar has been officially raised! Whether they were singing, dancing, playing an instrument, or sharing a unique hobby, they reminded us all what a talented community we have here at CES. ❤️

There was extra excitement on campus this week as Mrs. Kurtz's 2nd grade class got a front row seat with our local EMS heroes. Pre K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades experienced their visit as well.

The students got to go beyond the sirens and see exactly what happens inside a mobile life-saving unit.

A huge THANK YOU to our local EMS team for their patience, their service, and for inspiring the next generation of healthcare heroes!
