Congratulations to our graduating administrative assistant student worker, MeShanda Deason! MeShanda helped run our ECW office since summer of 2024 and we will miss her. She is graduating with her BFA in Creative Writing.

Did you know Words of Art is a semesterly club where artists and writers pair off to create corresponding pieces, similar to the Line Works exhibition a couple weeks ago. The opening reception of Line Work: art & poetry in collaboration was well attended April 6. The event and exhibit was hosted by the SFA School of Art in the Lower Art Galleries April 6-10.

The final BFA/MA Reading Series night this semester featured BFA candidates Ellory Brosette, Riley Hughes, and Julia Lederman who read and chatted about their work. MA candidate Justin Hughes performed from his thesis with some support from Dr. McDermott.
