🎓💙🎶Congrats to the Class of 2026 🎶💙🎓

Their leadership, dedication, talent, and heart have left a lasting impact on our small but mighty band program. They have blossomed into fine young musicians and I hope they never forget what hard work, patience, and commitment can do for them when they’re out there in the adult world. I am so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

🎶Epic Waters Music Festival🎶

Today, our Beginner Band participated in the Epic Waters Music Festival and received a FIRST DIVISION on their performance! 🥇🥳 The future is looking bright for our band program! Woo! 😎👏

🎶🎉Congratulations to the Central Heights Blue Devil Band on their SWEEPSTAKES! 🎉🎶

The HS Band participated in the UIL Region 21 Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation and earned a SUPERIOR rating on Stage and a SUPERIOR rating in Sight Reading. The band received SIX ONES making this a CLEAN SWEEP! This will mark a THIRD sweepstakes for the band program.

Thank you to our band students. They showed up and left it all out there and I COULD NOT be more proud of their accomplishments. They make coming to work worth it every single day when we can all come together and make music.

Golden Stand Band Members - Week of March 2nd

🎶Congratulations to Junior, Ben Poston, on a fantastic performance with the 3A All State Band in San Antonio’s Lila Cockrell Theatre.🎶

This is Ben’s 2nd consecutive year to qualify for the All State Band, and the entire Blue Devil Band Community is PROUD of his hard work and accomplishments! 🏆

Huge shoutout to the Poston’s, Mrs. Graff, Mr. Haynie, and my admin for filling in for this one and only director while I stayed back and took care of my baby. I could NOT have done this without yall. 🥰

Congratulations to Ben Poston for making the Texas All State Band!!! He will be performing with the top band students across the state of Texas in February!

We would also like to congratulate Sydney French for advancing to Area and placing 12th in the auditions! Clarinet is one of the most competitive instruments out there! 👏🥳

I am proud of my students for their hard work and dedication to their craft. 🥰
