This field trip was led by SFA's Dr. Julie Bloxson along with Dr. Erik Scott from the Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences at Rice University.

We had a great time last Friday hosting High School STEM Day! 🧪 It was an inspiring day of learning as students explored various STEM topics through hands-on experiments, demos, and challenges.

Thank you to all the students, teachers, and volunteers who made this day such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💜

Our Lufkin ISD STEM 4 students also crushed it at the East Texas Regional Science Fair at Kilgore College this past Friday!

They had 3 different projects advance to the Texas State Science and Engineering Fair in College Station.

Our Nacogdoches ISD STEM 4 students showed up and stood out at the East Texas Regional Science Fair at Kilgore College this past Friday!

They had 9 seniors advance to the Texas State Science and Engineering Fair in College Station. In addition, Armaan Rajani had the top project of the fair and earned an automatic advancement to the International Science and Engineering Fair that will occur in Phoenix, Arizona in May.

We are so proud of their hard work! 💜
