One of the hard decisions in taking on the Interim Director position this year at SFA is stepping back from the wonderful students in the Tuba-Euph Studio. I’m so thrilled though to announce that Dr. Ramon Garavito Jr. will be joining the SFA School of Music faculty as Visiting Assistant Professor of Tuba-Euphonium! I know the studio will be in great hands - Welcome, Dr. Garavito!!

It was a fun evening for the Faculty Brass Quintet performing with the Wind Ensemble on Dust by Jennifer Jolley. The WE tubas and euphoniums were excellent! Congratulations all around!

Great concert by the SFA Wind Ensemble this afternoon after their DFW Tour! The tubas were holding it down and the euphoniums knocked it out of the park on Melody Shop. Congratulations , everyone!
