☀️🎉 School’s Out for Summer! 🎉☀️
Our Pelicans have officially wrapped up another amazing school year, and now it’s time for summer adventures! 🌴🏖️🚲📚✈️
Whether you’re traveling to a new destination, spending time with family, exploring your hometown, attending camp, reading great books, or simply enjoying some well-deserved relaxation, we want to see what our Pelicans are up to this summer!
One of our Pelicans, Kevin Shaw, reported that he saw Percy while visiting the North Carolina Zoo!

Our 5th Graders have had an incredible time the last few days with field day, the 5th grade dance, moving up ceremony, and picnic. Today our younger students were able to celebrate our Class of 2026 with a memorable CLAP OUT !!!

As we close the chapter on the **inaugural year of Pine Island Elementary**, we are filled with gratitude, pride, and excitement for all that we've accomplished together. From the very first day, our students, staff, families, and community have helped build something truly special—a school where relationships matter, learning thrives, and Pelican Pride soars.
This year was filled with unforgettable memories, new traditions, academic growth, celebrations, and countless moments that made us proud to be Pelicans. As we reflect on our first year, we invite you to enjoy this special slideshow showcasing some of the memories that made Pine Island Elementary shine.
🎶 The slideshow is accompanied by a beautiful song created by our talented music teacher, **Mr. Canrobert**, and performed by one of our very own outstanding 5th-grade students, **Sophia**. Their creativity and talent perfectly capture the spirit, heart, and joy of our Pine Island family.
To our students: Thank you for your hard work, enthusiasm, and smiles each day. To our families and community: Thank you for your support as we launched and grew together during this historic first year.
