MBAHA is the voice of Myrtle Beach's hospitality industry + a tourism advocate for the Grand Strand. Why join the Association? Reasons to Join:
•Clout.

The Association is a coalition that provides one voice for the Grand Strand hospitality industry. This trade Association is built upon the premise that alone we can achieve little, but together we can achieve much. Firms identifying with the Association increase in prestige and clout by the Association.
•Connections. Form long lasting relationships that will turn into business for your company.
•Information. The weekly newsletter curates local and national news on the Grand Strand area, trends in the industry, economic analysis, advocacy issues, and events in one convenient email.
•Training. We provide access to training and education for owners, managers, and all level of employees that will help grow your business.
•Advocacy. Issues impacting the hospitality industry are addressed in one unified message.
•Joint-Membership. If your company is in hospitality, by joining the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, you will automatically receive membership in the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association and the South Carolina Restaurant Lodging Association.
•Events. We host several events throughout the year that connect members with the community to garner support for the hospitality industry.

Yesterday’s Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association board meeting and networking reception at Captain’s Quarters Resort was a huge success. We had an incredible turnout of current and prospective members coming together to connect and discuss the future of our industry.

A special thank you to the team at Captain's Quarters Resort for hosting us in such a fantastic space, and to all of our board members, committee leaders, and local hospitality professionals who joined us and continue to drive our mission forward. Over the last two days, members of our Board of Directors gathered for an intensive Strategic Planning Session focused on shaping the future direction of the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association.

During these dedicated working sessions, our leadership team engaged in thoughtful discussions on key strategic priorities, organizational goals, and ways to enhance value for our members and local hospitality community.

A special thank you to all of the board members who dedicated their time, expertise, and vision to this important process. We look forward to sharing more updates and details on our strategic roadmap as we finalize our vision for the future!

⛳️This past Friday, 34 teams hit the course at Prestwick Country Club for the 35th Annual MBAHA Hospitality Golf Classic! A little drizzle couldn’t dampen the spirits (or the friendly competition), making for a fantastic day of networking, fun, and fundraising for our local hospitality community.

🏆 Huge congratulations to our tournament champion team from HTC inc. ! 🏆

Thanks to our amazing players, volunteers, donors, and 28 event sponsors, we had a record-breaking day:
🎁 1,892 raised through silent auction packages
🎟️ 1,430 raised in raffle ticket & mulligan sales
