Day 2 of the SCASA Conference right here in our hometown! Our leadership team is enjoying meaningful professional learning, collaborating with educators from across the state, and gaining fresh ideas to continue strengthening The Den.

Today, they had the opportunity to hear from the well-known Baruti Kafele, who reminded us: “School culture is not an initiative, it is the foundation upon which all instruction is built.”

These 📚🦊 have been reading since school got out and joined the Carolina Forest public library last week to kickoff their summer reading program as well!

Who is going to be our top reader this summer to ?

From Fox in Socks fun and superhero adventures, to Thanksgiving lunch with loved ones, Fox & Fir, Table Manners Day, exciting field trips, all the way to Field Days, and all the unforgettable moments in between, we’ve made so many wonderful memories together in !

A familiar face with a new adventure!

Miss Stacey may not be new to , but she is stepping into a new role as a Kindergarten Aide, and we couldn’t be more excited!

What makes her heart happy?
Spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, and traveling to new places.

We’re so thankful Miss Stacey will be joining our Kindergarten team and can’t wait for our young kits to learn and grow with her!

Her faith, her seven amazing grandchildren, iced coffee, and beautiful sunsets.

We’re excited for our students to learn and grow with Ms. Lee this year and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make in the Den.

We know one thing for sure, we hit a home run with our 🦊 families! Happy Father’s Day to all of the Dad’s Grandpa’s and Grownups that step up and support the kits of our community!

Spending time with family and friends, corgi cuddles with Crumpet and Windsor, making magical memories at Disney, beach walks, and sharing laughter with her students. It’s the little moments: hugs, smiles, adventures, and time with loved ones, that bring her the most joy.
