Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ellie enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, painting, needlepoint, and making memories with friends, family, and her dog, Nana. She's also working toward her Masters of Education in School Counseling at Coastal Carolina University. We're excited to have her as part of the OBE family. 🐬

🚗🚌🚶 With the new school year getting underway, we want to make sure families know how transportation changes are handled at OBE. Please take a moment to review the information below from our Front Office so we can help make dismissal as smooth and safe as possible each day. If you have any questions, please contact the front office. We will be happy to help!🐬

Transportation Change Information from the Front Office:

All transportation changes, including car rider, walker, or bus must be submitted by a handwritten note stating the change needed and the date. Ocean Bay Elementary does not take transportation changes over the phone.

If your student will be a permanent walker at OBE for the 2026-2027 school year, meaning they will walk every day starting at the beginning of the school year, please fill out the form via the link below.

If your student will be walking on certain days throughout the year, please send a note into the teacher on those days stating if they will be an independent walker or a parent pick up walker.

OBE Walker Permission 2026-2027 Please complete one form for each child. This form allows your child to walk home from school. OBE Walker Procedures: We have two options for students who choose to walk home from school. All walkers are dismissed after all buses have left.
