My name is Maria Garcia!

I am incredibly grateful to have joined Myrtle Beach Elementary school's family this 2026-2027 school year as a 5th grade teacher; and as a Seahawk parent!

I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Coastal Carolina University and have had a passion for teaching since I was in middle school. While in college, I was a student teacher and substitute at both MBE and Myrtle Beach Primary and am glad to keep building onto relationships I have already created and excited to make new ones.

I hope to bring the same feeling of safety, love, and home to my classroom that my teacher who inspired me to become a teacher always brought to her classroom.

I’m Mr. Bell-Bailey, a Special Education teacher and proud U.S. Navy Veteran. I hold a master’s degree from Liberty University. When not teaching, I enjoy the beach, being outdoors, cooking, and making memories with my family and three Boston Terriers.

Hi everyone!! My name is Elaina Salvatore, and I am so excited to be joining Myrtle Beach Elementary as a new 5th grade teacher! I am originally from South Jersey and recently graduated from Coastal Carolina University with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. During my time at Coastal, I had the opportunity to complete internships at Myrtle Beach Primary and Forestbrook Elementary, so I’m feeling especially grateful to be back at the beach to become a Seahawk and see some familiar faces in the hallways! In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, exploring new restaurants, and relaxing with my dog, Winnie. I can’t wait for a wonderful school year and to meet all of my students and families!

We had a wonderful cluster-wide kickoff today. There is no other cluster that is configured the way our schools are. This makes us a tight family! Seahawk proud!

"My name is Melissa Dunmire, and I am thrilled to be an instructional coach at Myrtle Beach Elementary! You may recognize me as Sandler, but I recently got married. This is my second year at MBE, and my 20th year in education. I am originally from New Jersey and have had the privilege of teaching special education in grades 2-7 throughout my teaching career. My family and I moved to South Carolina a little over a year ago and we have truly found our home here! When not at school, I love spending time with my husband, 20-year-old stepdaughter, 9-year-old daughter, 7-year-old son, and our Maine C**n cat. You can often find us at the beach, Myrtle Waves, or Socastee Recreational Park Soccer Fields. I am a huge animal lover and enjoy doing crafts and reading. I am so excited to work with the incredible staff at students at Myrtle Beach Elementary and am looking forward to a wonderful year with everyone!"
