If you’re in the Myrtle Beach area come check out this simulator at BurgerFi! I offer lessons and Club Fittings here to get your game in shape! You can also book the simulator for yourself as well, it’s extremely accurate even with short game and putting!

Love these swings by .benavides only a few lessons into his golf journey! Brand new player, never golfed before. He made the smart decision starting with golf lessons and proper fundamentals from the beginning! Contact me if you want to get better at golf!

Short game vs full swing release pattern!!

There are always exceptions, but for the most part we want to focus more on connection with arms/body in your half swings or less with very little club face rotation.

Full swing especially with longer clubs/flatter club faces we need to allow for more club face release/forearm rotation post impact. This will help you especially if you find yourself hitting the ball too far right(or too far left for a lefty).
Let me know if you have any questions in the comments!

Come do a Club Fitting with me at my new indoor hitting bay at off Sayebrook Parkway on 544!!

- 15 yards increase in distance by getting the right shaft/club head combination for my client! Not to mention straighter/better technique as well because the weight/flex match his body/swing. Old clubs were way too heavy/stiff for this player.
Make sure you’re getting fitted…. and preferably with me!

Happy 4th everyone! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
today with my friend course was PURE!
72 today, struck the ball very well just didn’t capitalize on wedge opportunities and had 4/5 putts BURN the edges! Could’ve been a low one! Got some work to do on my wedge distance control!

Iron VS Driver: Difference in impact

I am big on the swing being the same through your bag!! Ideal close to on plane! If your swing is very steep you’ll tend to hit the shorter irons ok and struggle with long irons/woods, but if you’re very flat/shallow you’ll tend to struggle with the shorter irons and do ok with your long irons/woods. Once you’re on a reasonable swing plane it’s really just different setup at address and impact!!

Iron impact:
- Chest/ head should feel a bit more stacked over the ball. Helping you compress the ball and create a descending blow on the ball
- Shaft lean!!! Hands/grip leaning forward at impact (ahead of ball)

Driver impact:
- Head/ chest feel like they stay more behind the ball at impact. Helping you hit up on the ball and sweep it off the tee
- Very minimal/No shaft lean at impact!! Hands/grip level with ball at impact

Great work here by Sandy! She’s certainly put the work in and it’s starting to pay off! We are working hard on getting her trail arm/elbow in a better spot for her to deliver her downswing! This is one of the best swings I’ve seen from her and you can see why it was such a good shot!
