Anatomy is pretty cool. 😁 The nerves that control the bladder and reproductive organs are actually in close proximity to the sciatic nerve and connect to the base of the spine.

During a physical exam and screening, Dr. Levy may ask more questions about what’s working and what’s not. If there’s dysfunction presenting in one part of the lumbosacral spine and pelvis, it’s possible that other areas are being affected as well. 🖇️

Many years ago not long after starting in practice, Dr. Elaine had a retired gentleman under care who pulled Dr. Levy aside to say how happy he was to have improved function and no longer need to see a urologist! (He was too shy to tell the young Dr. Elaine. 🤣)

Beach Combers Walking Club is returning! Starting on Thursday, August 20th, at 9 am we'll be at the 50th Ave N beach access. We invite you to come join us as we stretch our legs for an ocean side stroll. Bring the family! There is plenty of room to spread out as we walk the beach and enjoy the fresh air.
