Anatomy is pretty cool. 😁 The nerves that control the bladder and reproductive organs are actually in close proximity to the sciatic nerve and connect to the base of the spine.

During a physical exam and screening, Dr. Levy may ask more questions about what’s working and what’s not. If there’s dysfunction presenting in one part of the lumbosacral spine and pelvis, it’s possible that other areas are being affected as well. 🖇️

Many years ago not long after starting in practice, Dr. Elaine had a retired gentleman under care who pulled Dr. Levy aside to say how happy he was to have improved function and no longer need to see a urologist! (He was too shy to tell the young Dr. Elaine. 🤣)

This is why we do an exam and report of findings to get to the real source of what’s not working in your body - not just the one issue that may have brought you in to see us! 👌

Give us a call at (843) 839-5262 to schedule an appointment or book online at seaonechiro.com.
