Ocean View is comprised of people who are on a journey - a journey through life with Jesus Christ. On the surface, each journey looks different, for we come from all kinds of geographic backgrounds, educational levels and economic strata. We come out of different family situations, faith experiences, and support systems, but we have this fundamental fact in common, we are all in need of an authentic relationship with God through Jesus Christ in which we learn to love and be loved.

Someone in your life needs the hope you carry. Who is it?

It’s good to be challenged to stop thinking of being the church as something that only happens on Sundays.

God has placed people all around us—where we live, work, play, shop and study…. and He has called us to be ambassadors of Christ through both our actions and our words.

So this week, start with one.

One name.
One prayer.
One conversation.
One intentional step.

You don’t have to reach everyone this week. But you can be intentional with one.

Ask God to put a name on your heart. Pray for them. Listen to them. Share life with them. And look for an opportunity to point them toward the hope we have in Jesus.

They have stories. Families. Next steps. Moments of surrender. Lives forever changed by Jesus.

Sunday, we took a moment to look back and celebrate all that God has done at Ocean View over the past two years and what a privilege it is to witness life change around us.

256 salvations
186 baptisms
44 people taking Foundations
12 new neighborhood groups launched

But we never want to forget that behind every number is a person. And behind every story is a faithful God.

We’re grateful for what He has done. We’re expectant for what He’s going to do next.

And we’re ready to keep going ALL IN.

To God be the glory.

We are so excited to celebrate life change and all that God is doing in and through our church today!

See you at 8:15am, 9:30am or 11am. Join us immediately after the 11am service time as we walk down to the beach for beach baptism. We can’t wait!
