🌟 New Team Member Spotlight 🌟

My name is Donna Stringfellow, and I am excited to join the second-grade team at Myrtle Beach Primary School. My journey into education began when my youngest child started school. What started as volunteering in the classroom led to substitute teaching and eventually to having my own classroom. I have spent ten of the past twelve years teaching first grade in North Carolina, where I was passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in meeting each child where they are, celebrating their progress, and building the confidence they need to succeed. My goal is for every student to leave my classroom knowing they are valued, cared for, and capable of being the best version of themselves. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my fur babies. I am thrilled to finally be living near the beach, where I find peace and happiness being close to the water. I look forward to the first of many wonderful years of learning, growth, and building meaningful relationships with students and families in our community.

Hi, Seahawks. My name is Rachel Loscalzo and I am an ML
teacher. I am an early childhood major so prior to teaching ML for Horry County, I was a classroom teacher (1st-5th) and a reading interventionist. This is year 21 for me. As an
educator, my goal is to empower and inspire my students so that they may have the tools they need to succeed in their lives. As an ML teacher, I strive to help my ML students become confident, proficient English language learners , and build strong family-school relationships. I live in Murrells Inlet with my husband, Anthony and our sweet dog Marta. I have two adult children (son and daughter), My daughter is a teacher in Charleston County. I
enjoy going for long walks on the beach with our dog, spending time with my family, and I enjoy any time spent in my garden.

My name is Katie Carroll. I graduated from West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a degree in Elementary Education.

After working as a temporary math interventionist at MBP last year, I’m happy to officially become a Seahawk as a first grade teacher. This will be my third year teaching.

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my three girls and husband. We relocated from West Virginia and are loving the South Carolina sun! Together we enjoy baking, looking for shells, and being creative.

I can’t wait for a wonderful year at Myrtle Beach Primary!

My name is Tim, and I am thrilled to join the Myrtle Beach Primary family as a Physical Education teacher. For the past 35 years, I have had the privilege of teaching and coaching students, including 18 years in the Myrtle Beach community. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping young people grow, learn, and reach their full potential.

After more than three decades as a high school PE teacher, I have chosen to make the transition to the elementary level because of my love for working with young children and the unique opportunity to help shape positive habits and attitudes at an early age. I believe that every child deserves encouragement, support, and opportunities to build confidence through movement and play.

I am honored to become part of the Myrtle Beach Primary family and am excited for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children each day. I look forward to getting to know our students and families and to sharing a fun, active, and rewarding school year together.
