’Twas the Night Before Teachers Returned 🏫💚💛

’Twas the night before teachers returned,
And the gym was all fancy, with decorations well earned.
It was dressed to the nines, from ceiling to floor,
Ready to welcome our teachers through the door!

In the blink of an eye, the moment arrived,
Our teachers came ready, excited and alive.
With smiles on their faces and hearts full of cheer,
They were ready to kick off another great year!

🚌💚 Student Safety is Our Top Priority at Myrtle Beach Primary! 💚🚌

The safety of our Seahawks is at the heart of everything we do. To help ensure every child arrives home safely, an adult must be present at the bus stop for all First Grade students.

If a parent, guardian, or other authorized adult is not present when the bus arrives, your child will not be left unattended. Instead, they will be safely transported back to Myrtle Beach Primary, where they will remain under the supervision of school staff until an approved adult arrives.

These procedures are in place to protect our youngest learners and provide families with peace of mind.

Hi! My name is Melissa Taylor, and I am thrilled to be joining the Myrtle Beach Primary School family this year! Originally from Tennessee, I taught in Greeneville for 22 years before moving to Louisiana, where I taught for four years. In 2018, I relocated to South Carolina and have proudly worked with Horry County Schools for the past eight years. I am excited to begin this new chapter at Myrtle Beach Primary School and look forward to sharing my passion for teaching, building meaningful relationships, and helping children grow and succeed. My favorite children's book is The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. I cannot wait to get to know my students and their families, create a positive and engaging classroom community, and make wonderful memories together throughout the year. Here's to a fantastic school year filled with growth, laughter, learning, and success! 😊📚❤️
