From the first rehearsal to the final curtain, this summer has been filled with creativity, growth, laughter, hard work, and so much love for theater.
To every student who showed up and gave it their all, every teacher who poured their heart into their students, every volunteer who jumped in wherever needed, every parent who supported, encouraged, drove, helped, and cheered, and every friend and family member who continues to believe in what we do—THANK YOU.

At just 15 years old, MBACT powerhouse Theresa absolutely slayed “Privilege to Pee” in our Elite Teen Intensive production of Urinetown: The Musical! 🔥
In just 14 days, this incredible cast learned, rehearsed, and delivered a full-length musical with excellence, heart, and so much talent. We couldn’t be prouder of what these young performers accomplished!
But here’s what makes what you are seeing on our stages different...
🎭 MBACT students aren’t just doing shows—they’re training.
Our students develop through ensemble, supporting, and lead roles, gaining valuable experience from every opportunity they step on stage. We intentionally expose our performers to a wide variety of musical theatre genres, styles, and challenges to help them become well-rounded, versatile artists.
From dance excellence to vocal technique, acting, storytelling, audition skills, and everything in between, our programs are designed to train, challenge, and develop young performers who leave with far more than just a list of shows on their résumé. They leave with the confidence, discipline, professional knowledge, and skills to thrive wherever their performing journey takes them.

Senior Spotlight: Thomas Morgan
Thomas joined the MBACT family in 2018 at 11 years old, and we have loved watching him grow into the incredible performer and young man he is today.
Some of his favorite roles include:
🎭 Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
🎭 Firmin in The Phantom of the Opera
🎭 Robert in The Drowsy Chaperone
🎭 Doody in Grease
🎭 Officer Lockstock in Urinetown
His favorite MBACT memory is the 2025–2026 Junior Theater Festival, where unforgettable performances and friendships made a lasting impact.
What he’s loved most about MBACT:
“I’ve loved the welcoming and encouraging atmosphere that brought me back into doing shows for MBACT.”
After graduation, Thomas plans to attend Clemson University.
His advice to younger performers:
“Don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone and try something new.”
Thomas, it has been such a joy to watch you grow from an 11-year-old performer into the confident young man you are today.
